Obituary of Delos A. Frasier

Mr. Delos A. Frasier, 83, of St. Hwy. 162, Sprakers, New York, passed away early Thursday morning, August 27, 2015 at Palatine Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving wife and family.
Born on August 13, 1932 in Little Falls, NY, he was the son of Miles Frasier, Sr. and Florence Dempster Frasier. He was a lifetime area resident.
Mr. Frasier work for the NYS Department of Transportation for 35 years in Highway Maintenance, retiring in 1987. Following his retirement Delos drove School Bus for Brown's Transportation for 7-8 years.
He was a member of the Currytown Reformed Church.
Mr. Frasier served as Rural Grove Fire Chief and was a very active member of the department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.
On June 30, 1961 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Delos was married to Dorothy Glenar with Pastor Hammer officiating.
His brother, Miles Frasier, Jr, predeceased him.
Mr. Frasier is survived by his wife, Dorothy Frasier of Sprakers, NY; daughters, Debra O'Donnell of Onset, MA, Linda and Tom Faye of Nelliston, NY; grandchildren, Brian Klump and Cindy of South Carolina, Holly Klump of NH, Adam Klock of Denver, CO, Sarah Klock of Miami, FL; 2 great-grandchildren, Jessica and Wesley Klump of SC.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 12:15pm the Rural Grove Fire House with Rev. Bill Faulkner officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 10:00-12:15pm at the fire department.
