Mrs. Debra A. Warner, 55, of Clinton Avenue, Fort Plain, New York passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Little Falls Hospital.
Born on December 8, 1959 in Little Falls, NY, she was the daughter of Earl A. Cotton and Beverly Kretser Cotton. She was a graduate of Fort Plain Central School, Class of 1978 and was a lifetime area resident.
Deb worked at Nice n Easy in Fort Plain for over 15 years, previously working for Beech-Nut in Canajoharie.
She was of Methodist faith.
Deb was an active community member of the local food pantries. She was a certified Firefighter for the Flying Saints of St. Johnsville. Deb loved going to garage sales, crafting, and Sally Shopping. She was a bowling league member in Canajoharie for over 30 years and was a longtime participant of Hazzfest.
On November 14, 1992 at their Johnstown residence, Deb married Daniel G. Warner. Together they celebrated over 23 years of marriage.
Her father, Earl A. Cotton and nephew, John R. Pettengill, predeceased her.
Mrs. Warner is survived by her husband, Daniel G. Warner of Fort Plain, NY; mother, Beverly Cotton of Fort Plain, NY; daughter, Shantiel Warner of Fort Plain, NY; step-children, Brian Warner, Tammy Warner, Craig Warner; brothers and sisters, James Cotton, Elizabeth Pettengill, Robert Cotton, Charmaine Dingman, Edward Cotton, Susan White; as well as several step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 4:00-7:00pm at The Chapel of Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.
