Obituary of Shirley Z. Bouck

Mrs. Shirley Z. Bouck, 76, of State Highway 80, Fort Plain, New York passed away on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Albany Medical Center Hospital, following a brief illness. Born on September 6, 1941, she was the daughter of Lester E. Zoller and Evelyn O. Snyder Zoller. She was a graduate of Fort Plain High School, Class of 1959 and was a lifelong area resident. Most recently Mrs. Bouck was Treasurer for Fort Plain Central School District. She had also been a teller for the former Central National Bank in Fort Plain for many years. Mrs. Bouck was the Superintendent of the Zoller Floral Hall at the Fonda Fair. On April 28, 1962 at The Fort Plain United Methodist Church, Shirley was married to David P. Bouck. Together they celebrated over 55 years of marriage. Mrs. Bouck is survived by her husband, David P. Bouck of Fort Plain, NY; daughter, Andrea Bouck of Fort Plain, NY; brother, Larry Zoller and Janice of St. Johnsville, NY; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 10:00AM at The Chapel of Gray-Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, 34 Center Street, Fort Plain, NY with Rev. Nancy Ryan officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place privately in Fort Plain Cemetery.
