Jacquelyn "Jackie" Dingman, 59, of Dingman Lane in Palatine Bridge, New York passed away Sunday afternoon, December 23, 2007, at home with her family following a long illness. She was born in Cooperstown, New York on February 16, 1948, the daughter of Robert Maring and Doris Searles Maring. She was a lifelong area resident and was a graduate of Canajoharie High School, class of 1966. Jackie was most recently employed at Lee Publications as the executive secretary for over 18 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star of St. Johnsville, New York and she enjoyed outdoor sports. Mrs. Dingman was of the Baptist faith. On September 29, 1978, she married Mr. Ronald W. Dingman in Ephratah, New York. This past September they celebrated 29 years of marriage. Mrs. Dingman was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her husband of Palatine Bridge, New York, her son, Lance R. Hill and his wife Linda of Cobleskill, New York, her step-son, Shawn A. Dingman and his wife Annette of Palatine Bridge, New York, grandchildren, Robert and Lauren Hill of Cobleskill, New York. She is also survived by two brothers, George and Jon Maring of California, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
