Miss Clara Putlack, 82, of Lexington Avenue, Gloversville, New York died Tuesday, February 7, 2017, following a brief illness.
Born on January 2, 1935 in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of Max Putlack and Catherine Tolochko Putlack. She had been a resident of the local area for over 65 years, spending the last 13 years at the house on Lexington Ave.
Clara was of Russian Orthodox faith.
She was active with the Special Olympics.
She is survived by her brother, Michael and Kay Putlack of Lebanon, OH; sister, Anna Putlack of St. Johnsville, NY; several nieces, nephews, cousins; as well as the staff and housemates of Lexington Ave.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, February 12 from 3:00-5:00pm and Monday, February 13 from 9:00-11:00am at the funeral home. An Otpevanie (Funeral Service) will be held on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Cemetery in Jordanville, NY.
