Robert "Bob" M. Null, 55, of Wagners Hollow Road, Fort Plain, New York died Wednesday morning, June 18, 2008 at Albany Medical Center Hospital following a brief illness.
Born on November 21, 1952 in Amsterdam, NY, he was the son of Edward Null and Ruth Scott.
Bob was a graduate of Canajoharie High School, class of 1971.
Mr. Null was a lifetime area resident.
On March 21, 1987 he married Andrea J. Siegle.
Until his retirement in December of 2007, Mr. Null worked 33 years as a line mechanic and service representative for National Grid Energy Service in Gloversville, NY. He was known throughout the area for going the extra mile to help his customers.
Bob was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He enjoyed archery, boating, camping and spending time with his family. He was a member of D.H. Robbins relay for life team, the International Bow Hunting Organization and the National Rifle Association. He was a devoted husband and father to his wife Andrea and his children Vanessa Null and Jacob Darrow.
He is survived by his wife, Andrea Null of Fort Plain, NY; his children, Vanessa Null and her boyfriend Zachary Tooly of Tupper Lake, NY, Jacob Darrow, his wife Karen and their children, Samuel and Jacqueline of Brockport, NY. Bob is also survived by his brother Carl Null of Canajoharie, NY and his step mother, Anna Mae Null of Canajoharie, NY.
Mr. Null was predeceased by his parents and sister, Debbie.
