Mrs. Marie T. Hall, 80, of Center Street, Palatine Bridge, New York died Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at her home following a long illness.
Born on July 27, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of Joseph Callahan and Helen Marlow Callahan. Mrs. Hall graduated from Our Lady of Wisdom Academy. She was a devoted wife and mother to her husband and 8 children.
Mrs. Hall resided in Palatine Bridge for the past 11 years, previously residing in East Springfield, NY and Queens Village, where they raised their children.
She was a communicant of St. Peter's & Paul's Roman Catholic Church in Canajoharie, NY.
Mrs. Hall was an avid bowler and loved cooking and gardening. She was known as a master gardener. She was also a past Cub Scout Pack Leader and a Juniorette Leader for her daughters.
On May 5, 1951 in Woodhaven Queens she was married to Richard Hall. Together they celebrated 57 years of marriage.
Mrs. Hall is survived by her beloved husband, Richard C. Hall of Palatine Bridge, NY; 6 daughters, Margaret Richman of Floral Park, NY, Regina LoBosco of Lindenhurst, NY, Dolores Burns of Smithtown, NY, Mary Rojas of Old Bridge, NJ, Helen Hall of Oneonta, NY, Julie Wasserman of Syracuse, NY; 2 sons, Thomas Hall of Cincinnati, OH, Richard A. Hall of Dodgeville, NY; a brother, Joseph Callahan of St. Petersburg, FL; and a sister, Colette Maier of Long Beach, NY. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
