Obituary of Helen Shelp Hubschmitt

Mrs. Helen Shelp Hubschmitt, 88, of West Main Street, Nelliston, NY went to be with her God on Monday evening, March 2, 2009. Born on February 13, 1921 in Currytown, NY, she was the daughter of James Shelp and Lena Regal. She was married to Frank Hubschmitt and had seven children. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank; her son, Thomas Hubschmitt; and her daughter, Rev. Carolyn Hubschmitt Moyer. Mrs. Hubschmitt is survived by her sons, James Hubschmitt of NE, Rev. Richard Hubschmitt of Germantown, NY; her daughters, Margaret Hubschmitt Reynolds of TN, Norma Hubschmitt Smith of Canajoharie, NY, and Rev. Jane Hubschmitt N.P. of Sprakers, NY. She is also survived by a sister, Betty Osborne of Fort Plain, NY; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She enjoyed her family and doing hand crafts. Her greatest love and service was to her God. Her love for her husband was also endless. Her family rejoices that Helen has gone home.
