Obituary of Marian Morrell

Mrs. Marian Roberts Morrell, 94 of 7 Timmerman Ave., St Johnsville, NY passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at the St. Johnsville Nursing Home following a long illness. Born on January 24, 1915 in Carlisle, NY, she was the daughter of Holmes Roberts and Lena Kimmey Roberts. Mrs. Morrell was a graduate of Cobleskill School System. Mrs. Morrell was a mother and homemaker and enjoyed crocheting. She was an area resident for over 60 years. Mrs. Morrell was of the Protestant faith. Mrs. Morrell was married on September 2, 1938 to Dean H. Morrell in Cobleskill, NY. She is survived by her husband who resides in St. Johnsville, a daughter Linda L. and her husband Tom Tys of Pattersonville, NY, a son Dean H. Morrell, Jr. of Newport, NY and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by all her siblings. A graveside interment service was held on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at 11 AM at the Ames Cemetery with Christine Evenson officiating.
