Obituary of John H. Baker

Mr. John H. Baker, 65, of Bulls Head Road, Amsterdam, NY, died Thursday morning, November 12, 2009 at his home following a long illness, under hospice care. Born on July 3, 1944 in Gloversville, NY, he was the son of Delbert G. Baker and Gertrude Glenar Baker. Mr. Baker resided at Bulls Head Road in Amsterdam for the past few years. Previously, he resided on Moyer Street in Canajoharie, NY. Mr. Baker worked at Liberty Enterprises in Amsterdam, NY for many years. He was a member of the Canajoharie Reformed Church. Mr. Baker enjoyed country music and playing his guitar. He loved going to concerts. He is predeceased by both his parents. Mr. Baker is survived by his sister, Mary and Otto Miller of Canajoharie, NY; niece, Amy L. Miller of Canajoharie, NY; nephew, Daniel R. Miller of LaGrange, NC; several cousins and a close friend, Eleanor Koons of Amsterdam, NY.
