Mr. Leo H. Tomlin, Jr. of Wagners Hollow Road, Fort Plain, NY passed away unexpectedly on December 8th, 2024.

Leo was born in Hudson, NY, on December 16, 1957, the son of the late Leo H. Tomlin, Sr., and Harriett Best Tomlin, who predeceased him.

Mr. Tomlin was most recently self-employed doing landscaping and snow removal. He had retired after 30-plus years as a heavy equipment mechanic for George Hildebrandt of Hudson, NY

He has lived in the Fort Plain area since 2003.

Leo loved being outdoors, whether snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, or his newest hobby kayaking.

Survivors include his son; Leo H. Tomlin, III; his step-daughter Elishia Arndt, whom he helped raise; siblings Dawn Coons, Daphne Almstead, Claudette Howard, Faith Tomlin, Doug Tomlin, and Dwayne Tomlin; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of Leo's life will be held in the spring, at a date and time to be announced.
