Mr. Robert Frederick, 69, of Lydius Street, Fort Plain, NY, passed away following a brief illness at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, NY.

Robert was born in Little Falls, NY, on September 14, 1955, the son of Leonard and Clara Cromer Frederick.

In 1973, he graduated from Fort Plain High School.

While working, he was briefly employed as a truck driver by Fort Plain Printing, Taylor Made in Gloversville, NY, and Swift Transportation.

Robert enjoyed sewing and spending time with his animals in his spare time.

On April 23, 2003, in Richfield Springs, NY, he married his wife, Karen; she predeceased him in death on November 10, 2013.

Survivors include his daughter Desiray Frederick (CJ Sibley); siblings Philip and his wife Carrie Frederick, Wayne Frederick, Valerie and her husband John Horstman, and Catherine and her husband Quinlan Davey; grandchild Aliais; Jesse Sibley and Kevin Bernier, whom he helped raise; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends and relatives on November 26th, 2024, from 2:00 to 3:00, with a memorial service at 3:00 at the Fort Plain Funeral Home, 34 Center Street, Fort Plain, NY 13339.
