Robert L. Scofield, Jr., of Sprakers, NY, passed away on September 8, 2024.
He was born on November 20, 1958, to June Robsky Scofield and Robert Scofield, Sr.
Born and raised in Colombia County, New York, Bob graduated from Taconic Hills School District and Colombia-Green Community College. He worked for Colombia County Engineering Department for 23 years before moving to Montgomery County, working for Liberty Enterprise for 18 years.
In 1992, he married the former Jaydene Mayhan of Sprakers. Their daughter Bretton, born in 2001, was the light of Bob's life.
He is survived by a sister, Densy Dyer of Chatham, a niece, Jessie Murphy of Greenville, and a nephew, Todd Dyer. He will also be missed by his beloved pets.
As a supporter of LGBTQ and women's rights, he regretted that the aggressive cancer that took his life did not allow him time to cast a ballot for Harris for President this November.
