Obituary of Patricia Bruschetti

Mrs. Patricia Bruschetti, 88, of State Highway 10, Canajoharie, NY, died early on July 23, 2024, at the St. Johnsville Nursing Home.

She was born in Palatine Bridge, NY, on June 25th, 1936, the daughter of Frank Zoller and Leda Shaul Zoller, who predeceased her.

Mrs. Bruschetti graduated from Canajoharie High School, class of 1953, where she was the salutatorian.

While she retired in 1998 from being a bank teller for Central National Bank and, more recently, NBT Bank, she had been a legal secretary for Bill MacKenzie Law Firm and a typist and proofreader for the Courier Standard newspaper.

She was a St. John and St. Marks Lutheran Church member and enjoyed crocheting lap blankets to donate to the Cancer Center, Nursing Homes, and the Schenectady City Mission.

On October 6, 1956, at the former St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Canajoharie, NY, she married Guito Bruschetti; he predeceased her on October 29, 2011.

Her son, Richard Bruschetti, also predeceased her.

Survivors include her daughters Jo Miller and Mike Geer of Fort Plain, NY, and Karen and Alan Hordge of Mississippi; three granddaughters Jessica Brewster, Jackie Pratt, and Kate Miller; grandson Tristan Hodge; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive family and friends from 4:00 to 7:00 on Friday, July 26th, 2024, at Houghtaling and Hanley, 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317. A funeral service will occur on Saturday, July 27th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fort Plain Cemetery.
