Eileen Russo, 77, most recently from the Fultonville area, previously of Florida, passed away on July 20, 2024, at Ellis Hospital.
Eileen was born in Queens, NY, on March 2, 1947, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Doris Milden Vanella.
She graduated from Brentwood High School.
While working, she worked for many Wal-Marts across Florida, making eyeglasses.
She enjoyed making crafts, teaching people to craft, and making beautiful floral arrangements in her spare time.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased in death by her daughter, Denise Aiello.
She is survived by her son David Russo and his fiance, Lisa Anne Montana, sisters Ann Dolce, Marie DaWalt, and Patricia Maguire; grandsons David Russo, Jr., Luke Aiello, and John Aiello; great-grandaughter Emma Rose Russo; her goddaughter Joanne Dolce; nephews Thomas Dolce, Steven Dolce, Paul Dolce, and Christopher Dolce.
Per her wishes, all services will be private and convenient to the family.
Arrangments for cremation are under the direction of Houghtaling and Hanley Funeral Home, 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.
