Ronald Keith Jacobitz Obituary

Mr. Ronald "R.J." Keith Jacobitz, 82, most recently of Gloversville, NY, passed away on May 21, 2024, at the Fulton County Residential Health Care Facility.

R.J. was born in Johnstown, NY, on July 10, 1941, the son of the late Steven R. Jacobitz and Maxine Baisner (Jacobitz) Blood.

He was a proud graduate of Johnstown High School and a lifelong resident of the local area, with much of his life spent in Florida. His career as a disc jockey and sports broadcaster, spanning multiple media outlets nationwide, was a testament to his passion and dedication. Everyone who knew him knew of his love of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants, his intense love of horse racing, and his love of a good round of golf.
