Laurie Anne Burt Obituary
Miss Laurie Anne Burt, 64, of Spring Street, Fort Plain, NY, passed away at her home on February 27, 2024.
Laurie was born in Staten Island, NY, on May 3, 1959, the daughter of Henry Burt and Loretta Sue Lollis Burt, who predeceased her in death.
Laurie graduated from Tantasqua High School in Sturbridge, Mass., and attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
1988, she moved to the area, previously residing in Sturbridge, Mass.
Most recently, she had worked at Lee Publications.
She attended the Valley Alliance Church in Nelliston and enjoyed gardening, knitting, and weaving.
Her brother, Henry "Hank" Burt, II, predeceased her on May 26, 2021.
She is survived by her brother David L. Burt, nephew Nick, and several cousins.
Cremation is under the direction of the Fort Plain Funeral Home, 34 Center Street, Fort Plain, NY 13339.
