Obituary of Thelma Reid

Thelma J. Reid, 89, of Hancock Street, Fort Plain, NY died at her home on February 15th, 2024 with her loving family.
She was born on Canajoharie, NY on September 6, 1934, the daughter of the late Clifford Crouse Sr., and Hazel Benton Crouse.
She attended Canajoharie High School.
She retired from Beech-Nut in Canajoharie as a production worker, and prior to Beech-Nut she had worked at the Clyde Banks Knitting Mill.
Everyone that knew her will remember how much she enjoyed garage saleing, going to Wal-Mart, and being with her grandchildren.
On June 19, 1954 at the former St. Johns's Lutheran Church in Canajoahrie, she married James F. Reid. He predeceased her on May 23, 2004.
She was also predeceased by her daughter Darlene Green, son Danny Reid, 3 of her brothers, Clifford, Kenneth and Harvey; and her sister Marion.
Survivors include her sons, Dennis and Kathy Reid, Ralph and Cindy Reid, Richard and Debbie Reid, Michael and Loretta Reid; daughters Diane Weaver, Debra Reid, Dale and Brad Nichols; her brother Gary Crouse; grandchildren Nicole, Nicholas, Shane, Greg, Brian, Josh, Joe, Eric, Keith, Michael, Clorissa, Alan Jr., Cory, Tammy, Brian, James, Kayla, Daniel, Heather, Jennifer, Francis, and Karla; many great grandchildren; and great great granddaughter; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will recieve freinds and relatives on Monday February 19th, from 2:00-4:00PM, with a funeral following at 4:00, at the Fort Plain Funeral Home, 34 Center Street, Fort Plain, NY 13339.
Burial will take place in the spring at Freysbush Cemtery.
