Bob was my friend and housemate of 32+ years. We had good times and rough times over the years, but he was always a good friend. He helped me overcome alcoholism, and cigarette smoking. He was there for me when I had legal issues, surgeries, and other things that were challenges in life. The past few years were challenging with his dementia, but he kept strong until the last few months of his life. In addition to Rensselaer Honda, he worked at H + K Towing, Saratoga Race Track as security and a few other odd jobs. He loved his WW2 movies and watching Twilight Zone, the Rifleman, The Lone Ranger or the Fugitive. He liked to socialize with people in the mornings at Stewart's and was always willing to help those in need. In his heyday, he liked to be a sharp dresser with many ties and suits. He loved to collect books and other things as he was a bit of a pack rat. He had many fine memories of his partners from older relationships and will be missed by those who are still around. I will miss him probably most of all as it is hard not seeing him every day sitting in his chair watching TV, petting the cats, or reading the paper.
