Doris E. Clancy Obituary

Mrs. Doris E. Clancy, 74, of Heiser Road, Fort Plain, NY died October 20, 2023 at home under the care of Mt. Valley Hospice.


She was born in Sharon Springs, NY on June 19, 1949, the daughter of Olin Wilday and Ella Moak Wilday.


Doris graduated from Sharon Springs High School. She had worked as a clerk at the former Central National Bank, now known as NBT bank. She has lived in the local area her entire life.


She was married to David F. Clancy, Sr.


Her parents, and brother Dick Wilday predeceased her.


She is survived by her husband David E. Clancy of Fort Plain, NY; two sisters Janet Gordon of Cobleskill, NY and Elaine Davenport of Sharon Springs, NY; as well as several cousins.


There will be no services as per her request.
