My name is Donna M. Vroman and I am Priscilla's younger sister. I was 4 years younger and something of a big mouth which got me into trouble with the older kids. Though naturally shy, Priscilla protected me from the bullies. I was always so proud of her as a teacher. It is heartwarming to see the many lovely comments. She and Noel were a perfect pair and I am so glad her suffering is over. The photo attached is of Priscilla at age 14 with her horse Brownie.

Mrs. Smith was my Kindergarten teacher in Cherry Valley School in 1969. I remember her loving ways, listening to Peter and the Wolf at nap time, and eating vanilla wafers and milk for snack every afternoon. I followed in her footsteps and graduated from Oneonta State with my bachelors and masters in education, taught a year at Cherry Valley School, and went on to teach Kindergarten at Cooperstown Elementary School. Rest in Peace Mrs. Smith. You are loved and admired by many and your influence will live on in the hearts of all your students. ❤️

Mrs. Smith was my kindergarten teacher at Cherry Valley Cenrral School, 1968/1969. She had her hands full especially with one student who was “acting out” in class. She handled it with dignity and professionalism and kept the class focused and on task. She always made each of us feel important, included and safe. I know she is resting peacefully with her Lord and Saviour.

Miss MacKewn was my kindergarten teacher 1964-65 school year! I loved her dearly and can still picture her kind face. She made us kindergartners feel safe and loved and protected. What a kind gentle soul. Rest sweetly Miss MacKewn!! Barbara Brodie Kineke

My condolences to all Priscilla’s friends and family. I met her 1992 through Marge and Alden Empie. I can only imagine what she and Marge may be up to now. My daughter, Emily, was born that year and her stocking is still being used. The Tuesday girls have built many memories. I enjoyed her visits.
