Obituary of Evelyn D. Mueller

Mrs. Evelyn D. Mueller, 90, of Lafayette Street, Palatine Bridge, NY passed away Monday, June 6, 2022, at Ellis Hospital, with her family by her side. Born on April 18, 1932 on Long Island, NY, she was the daughter of John and Mary Lipnicki Tworkowski and was the youngest of 9 children. She was a graduate of Sewanhaka High School, Class of 1949. She had been a Telephone Operator for New York Bell on Long Island, before moving to Canajoharie in 1955. Along with her husband she was the owner and operator of the family dairy farm in Canajoharie until December 1967 when they moved to Palatine Bridge, where she then worked as a housewife and childcare provider. She was a communicant of the former St. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church, and Our Lady of Hope in Fort Plain. She also enjoyed helping with the booster club, completing puzzles, especially Sudoku puzzles. She loved reading and enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and gigi. She was cherished by her family. On September 9, 1951 at St. Headwigs in Floral Park, NY, she married Henry G. Mueller, he predeceased her on October 17, 1995. Her daughter, Laura Mueller; 8 siblings; and grandchildren Jennifer Mueller and Kory Mueller predeceased her. Mrs. Mueller is survived by her 7 children, Gary and Cathy Mueller, Thomas and Gail Mueller, Sue and Mike Dean, Carol and Michael Amato, Mary and Andy Hislop, Jim Mueller, Ann and Gifford Bowerman; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 11:30AM at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Reid Street, Fort Plain, NY. Burial will follow at St. Peter's & Paul's Catholic Cemetery in Canajoharie. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Evelyn D.
