Obituary of Carol Ann Suderley

Mrs. Carol Lapi Suderley, beloved mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness surrounded by her family. Carol leaves behind her four children to carry on her memories, Lynn Reinhart, Phil and Tonya Reinhart, Richard “Rick” and Chris Lippman, Sherene and Daniel Zelezny, her beloved grandchildren Michael Reinhart, Jessica Reinhardt, Ryan Reinhart, Jacqueline Reinhart, Adam, and Margaret Watson, Nikia Lippman (Greg Hazzard), Ricky and Madyson Lippman, Casey and Isaich Mykel, Josh Ponte (Ashley Divers) and Brody Zelezny. She is also survived by her sister Diane Showerman (Lapi), nieces Robin Sabad and Susan Rees, along with several cousins. Long time family friends Connie Gibson, Lori and Rob Taylor, Mary and Dave Conrad, Angela Marclaw, Debbie and many more. Carol was predeceased by her parents, Angie, and Phil Lapi (Luciano) and her grandson Daniel Reinhart. Carol had many jobs thought the years, but being a lifelong caregiver and working in the restaurant business were her passions. She enjoyed many things such as cooking, baking pies at Saltsman’s, traveling crocheting, watching movies, camping, fishing, along with spending time with her three cats. Carol had lived a fulfilled life and will be missed by many. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, from 3:00-5:00 at Houghtaling and Smith funeral Home, 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.
