Obituary of Linda French

Mrs. Linda French, 69, of Hilltop Road, Sprakers, New York died Sunday, December 5, 2021 at home, following a brief illness. Born on June 17, 1952 in Troy, NY, she was the daughter of William Davis and Rita St. Denis. She was a graduate of Troy High School, Class of 1970 and had been a resident of the local area since, 1987, previously residing in Mechanicville. Most recently, Linda worked for Wal-Mart in Johnstown in Quality Assurance. She had also worked for McDonald's in Fultonville. Linda enjoyed her grandchildren and bowling. She also liked going to New Jersey to the Casinos with her friends. Her sister, Judy and brother, Michael predeceased her. Mrs. French is survived by her daughter, Amanda and Gary Mead; son, Boyd and Brenda French; daughter, Cheryl French; sisters, Lisa Viola, Peggy Davis, Beverly Stone; brothers, Danny Davis, Steve Davis and Mary Ellen; 16 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 1:00-3:00PM at The Chapel of Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.
