Obituary of Fay H. Winsman

Mrs. Fay H. (Flynn) Winsman, 82, of Tilton Road, Palatine Bridge, New York passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Palatine Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 14, 1939 in VanHornesville, NY, she was the daughter of Madeline Flynn, who predeceased her on February 5, 1987. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Donna L. Winsman on August 9, 1962. On June 4, 1960, Fay was married to Wayne N. Winsman, who survives. She is also survived by her sons, Michael Winsman (Fay Moscato) of Amsterdam, NY, and William Winsman, Sr. (Roberta) of Palatine Bridge, NY; brother, Timothy J. Flynn (Ruth) of VanHornesville, NY; grandchildren, Anne, Lucas, Billy, Joey. Her niece and nephew, Thomas Flynn and Tracy Lowry, also were very special to her life. Fay was employed at Dievendorf Pharmacy for over 25 years, a job she absolutely loved. It's fitting that Fay passed away on Election Day as she was a huge Patriot who loved her country. Equally she held Military Veterans in great esteem. Fay was an avid New York Yankee fan throughout her life. Her greatest joy came from the love she had for her grandchildren. Fay's family would like to thank the following healthcare facilities for providing excellent care, Bassett Healthcare, St. Johnsville Rehab & Nursing Center, and Palatine Nursing Home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 11:00AM at Fort Plain Cemetery.
