Obituary of Herman La Rue

Mr. Herman La Rue, 78, of Carmen Court, Palatine Bridge, New York, died, Sunday, September 26, 2010 and has taken his place in Heaven with his Lord and Savior. As his Soul was ascending to the heavens his family was by his side. He was at home spending his last days with his loving wife of 56 years, Marie VanEtten LaRue. Also residing at the home is Elizabeth Hulsaver, 98, Herman's mother-in-law. Herman worked for GTE & Contel retiring after 23 years. Hunting and fishing was something he enjoyed all his life. Later in life he experienced the adventure of Herkimer Diamond hunting. Mr. La Rue was a member of the Morehouse Rod& Gun Club. He volunteered at MidCounty Ambulance and St. Johnsville Ambulance Corp. Herman has three loving daughters, Amanda La Rue Seeley and her spouse, Harold J. Berry III of Morehouse, NY, Teena La Rue Duncan and her spouse, Frank Duncan, Jr. of Springfield, NY, Betty La Rue Patterson and her spouse Paull Patterson of St. Johnsville, NY; and 4 sisters. He was a loving Grandpa to several grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
