Obituary of Lester M. Dillenbeck, Jr.

Mr. Lester M. Dillenbeck, Jr., 52, of Smith Road, Richmondville, New York died unexpectedly Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at his home. Born on August 30, 1968 in Little Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Lester M. Dillenbeck, Sr. and step-mother, Cathy Ann Dillenbeck who survives. He attended Canajoharie High School and lived most of his life in the Canajoharie area, spending a short time in Scotia, and then living in Richmondville the past several years. For the past 6 years, Lester had been driving truck for Teagan Trucking Co. He was of Christian faith. He enjoyed working on cars and loved being with his family. He also enjoyed playing games on the playstation and landscaping. In addition to his father, his aunt, Esther Lawrence; and uncles, Leonard James, Chester Dillenbeck, and Douglas M. Dillenbeck also predeceased him. Lester is survived by his fiancé of over 10 years, Catherine Scott; sister, April Morey; brothers, Shawn Dillenbeck, Michael VanWagner; uncles, Carl Dillenbeck, Thomas Dillenbeck; aunts, Janet Jasewicz, Sandra Dillenbeck and William Siefert, Linda Dillenbeck; step-children, William and Lily Cochran, Tiffani and Ryan Cochran; 2 grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
