Obituary of Linda Moyer Bowden

Linda Bowden died on Monday, April 11, 2016 at her home in Canajoharie, New York after a long illness. She was born in Groton, Connecticut but lived most of her life in Saratoga Springs. She was the third of the seven children of David and Leone Moyer. Linda was loved by all who knew her and appreciated her keen wit, artistic eye, and culinary gifts. She is survived by her husband Donald and her daughter Gina Zelezny; step-daughters, Carrie Bowden and Amy Smith; her sisters, Patricia Grace, Andrea Green, Kimberly Dellis, Irene Moyer; her brothers Jack and David J. Moyer; and many nieces and nephews. Her greatest joy has been her granddaughter, Ava Simone Zelezny. This child brought her happiness in her final days. A memorial service to celebrate her life is planned for Monday, April 18, at 4:00 p.m. at the Washington Inn, 111 S. Broadway, Saratoga Springs, New York 12866.
