Obituary of Miss Barbara Ann Baker

Miss Barbara Ann Baker, 51, of Monroe Street, St. Johnsville, New York died unexpectedly, Thursday, April 28, 2016 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Utica. Born on December 10, 1964 in Amsterdam, NY, she was the daughter of Donald A. Baker and Marjorie Fonda Baker. She was a high school graduate and a lifetime area resident. Barbara worked for Exel in Johnstown. She was of Protestant faith. Her niece, Kristina Marie Horning and brother-in-law, Wayne J. Horning predeceased her. Miss Baker is survived by her sisters, Cheryl Horning of Canajoharie, NY, Diane Baker of Port Orange, FL; brothers, Jeff and Jill Baker of Canajoharie, NY, Douglas Baker of Troy, NY; nephews, Jason Baker, Josh Baker, Jordan (Caitlin) Baker; great-nephew, Henry; great-niece, Ceci. Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in Canajoharie Falls Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY. Contributions in memory of Miss Barbara Ann Baker may be made to the Charity of One's choice.
