Obituary of Anna Louise-Koebke Pedley

Mrs. Anna Louise-Koebke Pedley, 85, of Abeling Street, Canajoharie, New York, died Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Mountain Valley Hospice House in Gloversville. Born on July 25, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of Edward Koebke and Anna Schellback Koebke. Mrs. Pedley was a mother and homemaker. She also worked for American Optical Co. in Southbridge, MA as well as for Montgomery County for several years. She was a member of St. John's & St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Canajoharie. Mrs. Pedley was a Girl Scout Commissioner in Canajoharie. She was an avid knitter and sewer, and loved gardening. On August 24, 1946 in Webster, MA, Anna was married to Arthur H. Pedley. Together they celebrated 65 years of marriage. She is survived by her husband, Arthur H. Pedley of Canajoharie, NY; 2 daughters, Holly P. Reynolds and Kenneth of Minneapolis, MN, Deborah Pedley McArdle and Jack of Cincinnati, OH; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 2:00pm at St. John's & St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Church Street, Canajoharie, NY with Rev. Zach Labagh and Rev. R.W.
