Obituary of Loretta Jewel Williams

Mrs. Loretta Jewel Williams, of Fort Plain, New York died, Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Albany Medical Center with her husband and children by her side. Born on June 20, 1944 in Fulton, NY, she was the daughter of the late, Clifford and Lettie Chase. Her son, John Mark also predeceased her. Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband of 57 years, Peter G. Williams, Sr. of Fort Plain, NY; 5 Children, Peter, Jr., Clifford, Raymond, Robert, Tammy Powers; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings, Leslie Chase, Dora Mae Humphrey; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will take place Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 4:00-7:00PM at The Chapel of Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY with a reception immediately following at the South Minden Fire Department.
