Mr. Daniel D. Mulder, 74, of State Highway 163, Canajoharie, New York passed away Monday, May 11, 2020 at his home, following a long illness.
Born on August 3, 1945 in Cooperstown, NY, he was the son of Cornelius Mulder and Hilda Whiteman Mulder. He was a graduate of Springfield High School, Class of 1964 and was a lifetime area resident.
Mr. Mulder was a Machine Adjuster for Richardson’s and LifeSavers until his retirement in 2007.
Daniel was a member of the NRA, the Silver Spur Riding Club, and Cherry Valley Fish & Game. He loved hunting, snowmobiling, and watching his wife ride her horses.
On July 3, 1985 in Canajoharie, NY, Daniel was married to Julie Yacobucci.
His parents; daughter, Ann Mulder; brother, William Mulder; and nephews, Neil and Billy Mulder predeceased him.
Mr. Mulder is survived by his wife of almost 35 years, Julie Mulder; daughters, Pamela Mulder, Bonnie and Jimmy Crews; grandchildren, Travis, Lacey, Chelsea, Ashley, Cameron, Jordan; as well as his K-9 companion, Bandit.
A service will be held at a later date and will be announced. Arrangements are under the direction of Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.
