Obituary of Gregory C. Keller

Mr. Gregory C. Keller, 65, of Nelliston, New York died Monday, May 8, 2017 at Saratoga Hospital. Born on March 5, 1952 in Little Falls, NY, he was the son of Harrison Keller and Lola Saltsman Keller. He was a graduate of Fort Plain High School, Class of 1970 and had attended HVCC. He was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Keller retired in 1983 from GE's Turbine Department. He was of Catholic faith. On April 3, 1971 at the former St. James Catholic Church in Fort Plain, Gregory was married to Bonnie Eaker. Bonnie and Gregory were high school sweethearts and had recently celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary. His brother-in-law, Richard Cummings predeceased him. Mr. Keller is survived by his wife, Bonnie Keller of Nelliston, NY; daughters, Luanne and Raymond Sitterly of Amsterdam, NY, Lisa; sister, Karen Ann Cummings of Fort Plain, NY; grandson, Mackenzie Failing; son-in-law, Robert Failing, III; several aunts, nieces, nephews, and several cousins; beloved fur baby, Sophie. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Noon at The Chapel of Gray-Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, 34 Center Street, Fort Plain, NY 13339. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 10:00-12:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Fort Plain Cemetery.
