Obituary of Richard John Burke

Mr. Richard John Burke, 67, of California died June 28th, 2014. Born on September 7th, 1946 in Manhattan, NY, he was the son of the late Richard Burke of Fort Plain, NY and Madeline Jones Burke of Long Island. . He attended Fort Plain Central School. Mr. Burke was employed as a cross country truck driver most of his life. Mr. Burke is survived by his son, Adam and his wife, Victoria Warren of California; Two Sisters, Barbara and her husband, Jack Blair of Florida, Nancy Burke and her husband, Michael Blair of Oneonta, NY ; Two Brothers, James Burke and Shawn Steenburgh, and Martin Burke all of Fort Plain, NY. He is also survived by a grandson Nathan Warren, as well as a granddaughter that is expected February 16, 2015, Amelia Warren, dear friends Wayne Warren and Janet Hetchworth Warren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held on Saturday September 13th at 1:00 PM, at Tongore Cemetery, Olivebridge, NY.
