Mrs. Deborah Ann Mullis, 55, of Crouse Street, Fort Plain, New York died Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Mountain Valley Hospice House in Gloversville, NY.
Born on July 26, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of Howard Banks and Anna Allocco Banks. She was a graduate of John Adams High School, Ozone Park, NY. She received her Associate's degree from FMCC.
Mrs. Mullis worked for Richardson Brands in Canajoharie. Prior to moving to Fort Plain, Deborah worked for Fiduciary Trust Co. in Manhattan at the World Trade Center in the Payroll Departments. She also worked for several other companies in Manhattan.
She was of Catholic faith.
Mrs. Mullis was very creative. She enjoyed writing, crocheting, photography, and liked to sing and dance.
She is predeceased by her parents and brother, Robert Banks.
Mrs. Mullis is survived by her 2 sons, Michael James Mullis, Jr., Eric Robert Mullis both of Fort Plain, NY; 2 brothers, Howard Banks, Jr. of Long Island, NY, Richard Banks of Queens, NY; 4 sisters, Barbara Ann Vallely of Kew Gardens, NY, Rose Annette Banks of Fort Plain, NY, Patricia O'Connor of Long Island, NY and Deb's Twin, Kathleen Yager of Fort Plain, NY; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00pm at Gray-Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, 34 Center Street, Fort Plain, NY 13339. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday.
