Obituary of Bruce A. Murphy
Mr. Bruce A. Murphy, 62, of Keller Road, Fonda, New York and formerly of Canajoharie passed away on June 19, 2019 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, NY.
Born on July 16, 1956 in Amsterdam, NY, he was the son of the late Irvin Murphy and Edna Wheeler Murphy. He attended Liberty Enterprises in Amsterdam and was a lifelong resident of the local area.
He was a communicant of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Fort Plain.
Mr. Murphy is survived by his sister, Diana M. Murphy of Fonda, NY; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 22, at 12:00 Noon at The Chapel of Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317. The Family will receive friends and relatives from 10:00-12:00 prior. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda, NY.
