Obituary of Edward A. Beelek

Edward A. Beelek, Jr. Mr. Edward A. Beelek, Jr., 59, of Otsego Street, Canajoharie, New York died Tuesday, March 10,2015 following a brief illness. Born on September 7, 1955 in Missouri, he was the son of Edward A. Beelek, Sr. and Betty Fralick Beelek. He had been a resident of the Canajoharie area since the early 1990's, previously residing in St. Louis, MO. Mr. Beelek enjoyed woodworking, which was a hobby of his for many years and playing guitar. Most recently Mr. Beelek was employed with Kasson & Keller in Fonda. He had also worked for WW Custom Clad in Canajoharie and Sentinel in St. Johnsville. His parents and his sister, Joan Beelek, predeceased him. Mr. Beelek is survived by his sons, Paul Beelek of St. Louis, MO, Edward Beelek, III of Suffolk, VA; daughter, Joan Marie Beelek of Canajoharie, NY; 5 sisters, Carol Schlottman, Helen Holcomb, Janet Quintanilla, Barb Wilson, Bonnie Partl; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A 2:00 pm graveside will take place in Fee Fee Cemetery in Bridgeton, MO, on Thursday March 19th at 2:00pm. Contributions in memory of Mr. Edward A. Beelek, Jr. may be made to the charity of one's choice.
