Earl Chauncey Swank, Jr. 65, of Otsego Street in Canajoharie, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at his home with his family by his side.

Earl was born on Saturday, January 28, 1961, in Little Falls, the son of Earl C. Swank, Sr., and Mabel (Vosburgh) Swank. He worked at WW Custom Clad in Canajoharie for many years, retiring in 2022. He lived in New York most of his life. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and going to family cookouts. He loved watching sports; his favorite teams were the San Francisco 49ers and the Syracuse Orange.

Earl met the love of his life, Carol Zeidner, and they married on July 14, 2007, at their home in Canajoharie. 

Survivors include his father, Earl C. Swank, Sr., his brothers, Bob, Will, and Jack, his children, Arthur (Courtney) Swank, Sr., Stewart Zeidner, Adam Snyder, Adam Zeidner and John (Michelle) Cyr, and many grandchildren, John, Arthur Jr., Raelynn, Shawn, Alivia, Taylor, Gabriella, Gracemae, Martin, and Elizabeth.

In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his brother, George.
