Frances Dybas Obituary

Mrs. Frances Dybas, 101, passed away at Alpine Nursing Home, Little Falls, NY.


She was born in Easton, Pennsylvania, on March 25, 1925, the daughter of John Haney and Florence Kelly.


Frances was self-employed as the owner and operator of Mohawk Town and Country Reality, of Canajoharie, NY. 


Most of her life, she lived in the local area. 


Frances had a passion for music and enjoyed singing, performing in numerous talent shows throughout the years.


In the early 1990's, she married Raymond Dybas, who predeceased her in 2006. 


She was also predeceased by her daughter, Suzanne Leavitt, in 2017, her brother Charles Kelly, and her sister Eileen Worth.


She is survived by her son, Rick, and his wife Lisa Miller; grandchildren Krystin Grant, Scott Sgambato, Kymberly Dopp, Stacey Andersen, Greg Miller, and Jackie Miller; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 


The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Friday, April 17th, at the Houghtaling and Hanley Funeral Home, 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, with a funeral service to follow at 11.
