Deborah Burke Obituary
Deborah Burke, 69, of Fredericks Street, Canajoharie, NY, passed away on March 27, 2026, unexpectedly at Palatine Nursing Home.
She was born on July 12th, 1956, the daughter of the late George Burke and Dorothy Schoonmaker Burke.
She had graduated from Canajoharie High School.
Most recently, she was employed by Kas-Kel in Fonda, NY.
Deborah enjoyed being with family and friends in her spare time.
She was predeceased by her boyfriend, Chris Millington, and many brothers, Chet Burke, John Burke, Steven Burke, William Burke, Harry James, and George Burke, Jr., and sisters Ann Burke and Edna Burke, her great niece, Justine A. Nightingale.
Survivors include her sisters MaryAnn and Daniel Nightingale, Arlene Burke (Gene Herringshaw), brothers Robert Burke and Roberta Dwyer, Richie Burke, and Gary Burke; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many cousins.
She will be interred at Canajoharie Falls Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements are by Houghtaling and Hanley Funeral Home, 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.
