Gail lived with her family at birth behind Gotti's store on Mohawk St, Canajoharie. I was born in the same tri-plex as she was. I was born on 12/04/38, a few years before Gail. Whenever I came "HOME" for a visit, I would spend time with her and Jay at the Village Coffee Shop. WE always had great conversations, old times in school, smiles, laughs and maybe even a few tears. Gail & Jay were always a "bright" spot of my trip home. My prayers and thoughts to Jay and his family over their loss. A very nice lady ! Gods blessings on all. Gail was the best ever and I am so sad and will miss her dearly. Her and my mom were the best if friends and when I was young her and Jay were always a part of our lives. Best memories were the Ames fair under the trees every year. Such great memories. I know she is now she is with mom again and I am glad they have each other

Deborah and I were saddened to hear of Gail's passing. She was a great "mom" to all of us boys back in our younger and less mature days in junior high and high school. Condolences to Jay and the entire Summerson clan. Gail was a sweet lady and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.
