Mrs. Irini Koulouris, 68, of Palatine Bridge, NY,  passed away on December 23, 2025, at Saratoga Hospital, Saratoga, NY.  She was born on May 22, 1957, in Nikia, Nisiros, Greece, the daughter of James Kontos and Maria Nikitadis Kondos. 

She was educated in Greece and was a mother and homemaker.

For the past 23 years, she has lived with her family in Palatine Bridge, NY. She lived in Astoria, Queens, before moving upstate.

She was a member of St. George's Greek Orthodox Church, Schenectady, New York.

She enjoyed being with her family, traveling, and cooking.

On October 21, 1973, in Astoria, Queens, she married her husband, Gerasimos Koulouris.

She was predeceased in death by her parents and her nephew, Dimitrios Verteouris.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years; Daughter, Florendia Koulouris, Sons, Stathis Koulouris, and Dimitrios Koulouris; grandchildren, Gerasimos, Irene, Sophia, and  Kassandra; sisters, Effie and her husband, Chris Kosmas, Kaliopi and her husband, Bill Sotiriou, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 9:30 AM, at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 107 Clinton St, Schenectady, NY 12305. 

The family will be receiving friends and relatives from 3:00-7:00 PM, Monday December 29th, 2025 at Farenga / Antonopoulos Funeral Home, Inc., 38-08 Ditmars Blvd

Astoria, NY 11105.

Burial will take place following the Mass at Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda, NY.
