Mrs. Nancy Tisko, 74, of Canajoharie, NY, passed away on August 7, 2025, at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, NY, following a brief illness. 

On November 3, 1950, Nancy was born in Albany, NY, the daughter of George and Marion Herrington Schleicher.

Nancy attended St. Patrick's Elementary School, Hacket Middle School, and Albany High School.

While younger, she had worked as a cashier at Price Chopper and Edwards Supermarkets, as well as managing Schleicher Apartments. 

For the past 25 years, she had lived in the Canajoharie area, where she enjoyed shopping, antiquing, crafts, and knitting. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Joe Tisko, and siblings, Maryann and Peter Schleicher.

Survivors include; children, Penny Tisko (Dana Peterson), Joe Tisko, Tammy and her husband Thomas Bouck, Bonnie and Teri Burke, Nancy Tisko (Andrew Fisher), Frankie and Darcee Tisko, and Dwayne Tisko; siblings, Joan Engel, Leonard Schleicher, Mike Schleicher, and Daniel Schleicher; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins; and her beloved cat "Alf".

Following her wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
