Mr. Eugene J. Yanas, 95, of State Route. 162, Sprakers, NY, passed away on June 5, 202,5, at St. Mary's Healthcare.
Gene was born on February 24, 1930, the son of John Yanas and Mary Andrews Yanas, both of whom predeceased him.
He worked for the New York City Housing Department for many years. He also taught dance.
Gene is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Following his wishes, he will be cremated.
Arrangements are under the direction of Houghtaling and Hanley Funeral Home, 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.
