Martha Patulski Obituary

Baptism date 10-23-1965

Mrs. Martha Patulski of Johnstown, New York, passed away on June 4, 2025.

Born on May 20, 1949, in Little Falls, New York, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Lana (Horender) Erhardt of Fort Plain, New York. A 1967 graduate of Fort Plain High School, she worked at Beech-Nut Inc., Canajoharie, NY, in the payroll office after graduation. She married her lifelong love, Paul Patulski, on July 1, 1972. Together, they raised two beloved daughters, Stephanie (Brian) Taylor of Wallkill and Bethany (Tyler) Desmond of Albany. Her happiness stemmed from the time she spent with her family and from being a Jehovah's Witness for over 60 years. In Addition to her door-to-door ministry with Paul and her friends, she joined Paul in 2006 in the construction of meeting places of Jehovah's Witnesses across New York State.

Martha is survived by her beloved husband, Paul, much loved daughters, Stephanie and Bethany, grandaughter Hailey Desmond, of Albany, brother Charles Erhardt (Tammy) of Canajoharie, sister in law Karen (David) Tarbox, of Oppenheim, NY, brother in law Michael Patulski, of Palatine Bridge, special friends, Scott and Donna Bassani of Commerce, Michagan, and nieces, nephews and friends everywhere.

She was predeceased by her parents and her dear brother, Edwin, in February 2008.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service to be held on June 21, 2025, at 1:00 PM  at the Johnstown Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Houghtaling and Hanley Funeral Home, 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.

Memorial contributions may be made to Johnstown Congregation, PO Box 462, Johnstown, NY, or the Ayers Animal Shelter, 433 Hilltop Road, Sprakers, NY.
