Mrs. Helen A. Nellis, 77, of Fultonville, NY, died on June 3, 2025, at St. Mary's Healthcare.
She was born on July 11, 1947, the daughter of Walter Ingalls and Berna Eckert Ingalls.
Helen graduated from Unadilla High School in 1967.
Much of her time working was spent at the Adirondack Knit of Amsterdam, staying with the company when they moved to North Carolina in 2000, then moving back to the area when she retired.
She enjoyed watching NASCAR.
In October 1973, she married LeRoy Clifford Nellis, he predeceased her in death on April 27, 2024.
She was also predeceased in death by her brothers, Carl Ingalls and William Ingalls.
She is survived by her sister, Susan Ingalls Ellis.
All services will be private and at the convenience of the family, and under the direction of Houghtaling and Hanley Funeral Home, 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.
