John O. Horning Obituary
Mr. John O. Horning, 75, of West Grand Street, Palatine Bridge, New York, passed away at home May 11, 2025.
John was born on July 17, 1949, the son of Everett Horning, Sr., and Allison Ambridge Horning.
He graduated from Fort Plain High School and lived most of his life in the local area.
Most recently, he worked at Pearl Leather, Johnstown, NY.
John served in the US Army as a Military Police Officer and dog handler in Korea.
In his spare time, he enjoyed Golf and Antique Cars, especially his 1937 Chevy Coupe.
On November 13, 1970, he married Sanghui Chong Ho, she predeceased him in death on October 18, 2022.
He is survived by his brother, David Horning, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Arrangements are under the direction of Houghtaling and Hanley Funeral Home, 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.
Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, privately at a later date.
