Mrs. Patricia “Patty” A. May, 62, of Mill Street, Canajoharie, NY died on December 9, 2022, at the Palatine Nursing Home from natural causes. She was born in Rome, NY on December 28, 1959, the daughter of James B. Evans and Heidi Greash.

Patty was a graduate of Batavia State School for the Blind and attended MVCC.

She moved to the local area in 1992, and previously had resided in Chittenango, NY.

Patty had a very close relationship with her mother, and her grandparents whom she is now with. She enjoyed and loved to around most of her neighbors, family and friends, but held a special place for her husband, a relationship that started when they were 7 and 8 years old.

On September 26, 1992 at 21 Stone Arabia Street, Nelliston, the grooms parents home, she married Michael May.

She was predeceased by her mother, in 2009, and her grandparents.

Survivors include her husband; Michael May; father James B. Evans; Sister in Law Linda Winnie; and Brother in Law Stanley May.

Burial will take place at Canajoharie Falls Cemetery privately.
